Vitamin D supplementation can cost 50 dollars a day (live longer)

Computation is based on:

• Vitamin D extends lives
• Cost of additional years in senior home/assisted living = $18,000 (conservative) = $50/day

Govt/insurance pays for results of poor health (if not take vitamin D)

• Otherwise the end-of-life medical charges would be exceed the cost of senior home
• Strange that healthy seniors have to pay for senior homes, but unhealthy seniors do not have to pay for their medical costs.

With vitamin D seniors:

• Can live longer,
• Living longer will reduce the size of inheritance if they are in senior home/assisted living
• Might live longer than their savings ==> leave senior home and no inheritance
